Welcome to StaySitges SL, our aim is to make your holiday experience the best it possibly can be and to achieve this we aim for total transparency, therefore if after reading the following you have any doubts or questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
These booking terms and conditions for our exclusive managed apartments form the contract between StaySitges and you, so please read them carefully.
For accommodation where StaySitges act solely as a booking agent we do not assume responsibility beyond that role, however points 1.1 – 2 – 6.3 and 7.5 do apply
Minimum stay requirements apply. In high season this is 5 nights and at other times is 3 nights unless a different period is agreed upon in writing.
Your charge per night for the apartment is as set out on the website and agreed at the time that you make the reservation and we confirm the booking
1. Payment
1.1. Deposit
A deposit of 30% or 1 night depending on which is the greater will be charged in advance prior to confirmation of the booking. No booking is confirmed until such a deposit has been charged. This deposit is non-refundable once the booking has been confirmed.
For all bookings for peak/high season, made within 30 days of planned arrival date, the full balance must be paid on booking.
A one-off booking fee will also be charged. This is €25 for a stay of up to 14 nights. For longer stays the charge may vary and will be set out in writing via e-mail This fee is non-refundable once the booking has been confirmed.
We strongly recommend that you have personal travel insurance that will provide you with adequate cover during your stay and also compensate you if you have to cancel or cannot meet your obligations regarding your booked accommodation.
1.2. The Balance
The balance of your stay is payable upon your arrival and can be either in cash or by credit card (Visa/Mastercard only). Should you pay by credit card then a 2.5%, minimum 5€ processing fee applies.
2. Cancellation Charges
2.1. Cancellations
More than 30 days notice will result solely in the loss of the above deposits.
Cancellation within 30 days of the due start date of your booking may result in further charges if we are unable to re-let booked accommodation.
A no-show or cancellation within 14 days of the due start date of your booking will mean that the full cost is payable and charged. Any recompense will be subject to us being able to re-let the booked accommodation.
Cancellation should be notified as soon as possible in order to minimise your financial loss and to allow us to find other guests and thus lessen any charge. Cancellation should be notified by e-mail and a reply requested.
Should you vacate your apartment early for any reason, no refund will be applicable.
2.2. Changes made by StaySitges
It is extremely rare that this scenario would occur, however should, for any unforeseen reason we be unable to provide the accommodation booked, StaySitges will notify you immediately and offer you alternative accommodation of a similar standard.
3. Check in
Check in is normally after 2pm, although StaySitges will always try to accommodate all arrival times. Check in is at our office on Calle San Sebastian 46, Sitges 08870, although, should it prove more convenient in terms of geography, or time, arrangement may be made to check you in at your apartment.
All guests are required to register with a passport or National ID card and the register may be inspected by the local police from time to time.
Our office hours within season are 9.30am – 6pm, excluding Sundays.
Check in between 6pm and 9pm incurs a charge of 25€ per apartment.

Check in on Sundays incurs a charge of 25€ per apartment.
After 6pm and on Sundays StaySitges can arrange an airport pickup and keys can be given to the driver to take you directly to your apartment, however authority must be given to charge your card for the outstanding balance of the stay before such arrangement is made, the client will then agree to come to our office first thing the next morning to complete the check in forms.
4. Security Deposit
The apartments managed by StaySitges represents a substantial financial investment to owners therefore it is our responsibility to ensure they are protected. StaySitges does not charge a security deposit. In providing your credit card details you authorize StaySitges to debit your credit card as appropriate for any actions, accidents, damage and excess charges as outlined in these terms and conditions.
5. Check Out
Check out is at 11am on the day of departure, however subject to arrival of new guests a late check out may be arranged at a fee of 50€ . Failure to pre arrange this will result in a full day being charged.
Guests are responsible for leaving apartments in a reasonably clean and tidy state on their day of departure. This especially applies to ensuring that garbage is bagged up and removed from the apartment and disposed of appropriately and also that any washing up created is cleaned and put away. Failure to adhere to these undertakings will result in additional charges being levied.
6. During your stay
6.1. Linen/towels/Cleaning
In July and August for stays of 6 nights or more, bed linen and towels will be changed after the 3rd or 4th night, except where otherwise advised or agreed, the apartment will be cleaned, working around your possessions. The cleaners arrive between 1100 and 1600. We have a large number of apartments under management and approximately one-third of them to change in that time, so bear with us if it seems a large time window! Cleaners do not do the washing up.
If you do not need fresh towels or bed linen, just let our cleaners know.
Cleaners are not responsible for the removal of garbage or emptying the dishwasher.
6.2. Hire of additional items
Beach towels, cots, highchairs and additional items may be hired from StaySitges. Please contact staff for appropriate charges.
6.3. Noise & disturbance
Apartments are often in residential buildings and, while you may be on holiday, other residents in the building may be working, we ask that you respect this and take reasonable care of the property and its contents.
If StaySitges receive complaints from other residents or the Communidad (building administration) they may and can ask that you vacate the accommodation, without any recompense, immediately. If the Communidad complain to the police, they may take a far firmer line, not only removing guests from the apartment but throwing them into gaol while the complaint is investigated.
7. Accidental damage, lost keys, wear & tear and costs
7.1. Damage
StaySitges will always make reasonable efforts to correct faults and deficiencies in the accommodation but weekends, public holidays and out of working hours this cannot be guaranteed and we ask you to bear with us or help us by accepting any reasonable alternative or temporary solution that we deploy to mitigate a situation.
Accidents happen!! If something untoward does happen to you during your stay in one of our apartments that results in damage or injury then please inform us as soon as possible.
An appropriate charge will be made to your credit card for any more serious accidental damage, or to cover any costs incurred as a result of unreasonable neglect, theft from or abuse of the property. This is extremely rare, and 99.5% of bookings do not result in further charges.
7.2. Keys
A spare key is held at the office, , loss of keys result in our having new keys cut and therefore a charge incurred. Please be careful with your keys. Please DO NOT leave keys in the back of the door as this means the door can not be opened and results in an expensive locksmith callout.

Upon check in StaySitges will provide clients with more details with regards to the medical center and chemists.
7.3. Air conditioning
Most of our apartments have air conditioning. We would ask that you switch the air-conditioning off when you leave the apartment, as it is very expensive in terms of water and electricity and the environment.
7.4. Electricity, gas and water
Occasionally Sitges is prone to power surges in the electrical supply and you may experience a slight flickering of the lights or a short duration power cut. This is quite normal. A power surge may cause the trip switch on the fuse board in your apartment to operate. This just has to be switched on again. You will be shown where the box is.
The water supply in Sitges is good, though we would recommend you do not drink the water. Again, sometimes there is a variance in water pressure. Occasionally, should everyone in the building be using showers simultaneously, water pressure drops and there is insufficient pressure to ignite a gas boiler or in a block with central hot water there may be no hot water remaining. We suggest you leave the shower for 5 to 10 minutes then try again.
7.5. Data Protection - Privacy Policy
We respect the privacy of the information that you provide to us via this website. We do not sell, rent or trade any personal information to third parties for marketing purposes without your express consent.
We only collect data from you when you book an apartment through the website and when you speak with one of our staff.
