Sitges is getting ready to celebrate one of its most iconic festivals: Corpus Christi 2025. From June 20 to 29, the town’s streets will bloom with floral carpets, carnations, giants and heartfelt moments. A unique experience declared a Festival of National Interest in Catalonia.

The celebration kicks off on Friday, June 20 and culminates on Sunday, June 29 with the Corpus procession and final giants’ dance. A full week of activities awaits all ages.
🌸 Highlights of Corpus 2025
📌 June 20 – Official Opening
- 7:30 PM – Official presentation of the program and poster at the Mercat Vell (Plaça de l’Ajuntament)
- 6:00 PM – Opening of the 85th National Carnation Exhibition at the gardens of Hospital Sant Joan Baptista
📌 June 21 & 22 – Family Workshops & Decorated Spaces
- Kids workshops at Racó de la Calma
- Flower-decorated areas at Pati Blau, Aiguadolç Port, Fundació Ave Maria and more
📌 June 22 – Main Celebration Day
- From early morning: Flower carpet creation throughout the town
- 12:00 PM – Hot chocolate for children and giant soap bubbles at Hort de Can Falç
- 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM – Mass at Sant Bartomeu i Santa Tecla Church and Sant Joan Baptista
- 7:00 PM – Solemn mass
- Followed by: Corpus procession through historic streets
- Final giants’ dance and traditional refreshment in front of the Town Hall
🎉 2025 Highlight: 75 Years of Carrer Jesús First Block
This year, the residents of the first block of Carrer Jesús will celebrate 75 years of floral carpet tradition by creating the main design at Cap de la Vila – a true tribute to community and generational continuity.
👑 50th Anniversary of Sitges’ “New” Giants
The “new” giants turn 50! On June 21 at 8 PM, they’ll be presented with new outfits alongside the “old” giants at the Town Hall Square.
On June 22, both pairs of giants will parade together, a rare event held every five years.
