2023 carnival highlights<\/h1>\n

Very soon, from February 16th to the 22nd, we\u2019ll be finally celebrating the Sitges carnival! And like in all the events in this wonderful town, the program of events is extensive.<\/h2>\n

Although we would love to attend to everything happening in carnival, we know that many times that\u2019s impossible for us. But there\u2019s not nothing to worry about! We\u2019ll leave you a nice little summary of the most relevant acts of the Sitges carnival.<\/p>\n

The arrival<\/h3>\n

We begin with the presentation of His Majesty Carnestoltes, on Thursday 16th at 7:00 p.m. in La Fragata. A show that you cannot miss, surprises us every year.<\/p>\n

Disguised bed race<\/h3>\n

On Saturday the 18th at 11 a.m. in Cap de la Vila. Get ready to see beds on wheels disguised with the most unexpected themes running through the streets of Sitges.<\/p>\n

Sunday parades<\/h3>\n

On Sunday 19th, with the children’s at 12 p.m. and the adults at 7:30 p.m. and both with the same route. The floats and costumes of the parading groups will not leave you indifferent. Don’t forget to dress up too!<\/p>\n

Tuesday parades<\/h3>\n

Tuesday the 21st, the children’s parade is at 12 noon again and the adults’ this time will be at 9:00 p.m.<\/p>\n

The Burial of Carnestoltes<\/h3>\n

Wednesday the 22nd, a parade from the town hall to the beach carrying his majesty’s tomb to be burned. The inhabitants of Sitges come to show their respect to the king and to say goodbye to carnival once again.<\/p>\n
