The festivities of San Juan are celebrated on June 23 and 24, the eve and the saint’s day, respectively. In Sitges there are activities to spend these days, both with family, friends and partner. The Poble Sec neighborhood will offer cultural, popular and liturgical events from June 15 to 24, among them is the fair<\/a> that will be located next to Plaza Catalunya<\/a>. Concerts, popular dinner, presentation of the Pubilla and Hereu from el Poble Sec 2024 and music are some of the events leading up to the party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Sunday, June 23, at 2 p.m., the \u201c12 morterets\u201d will be launched from Plaza Catalunya. At 11 p.m., the San Juan festival will begin, also in Plaza Catalunya, and will last until 5 in the morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the beaches of Sitges, there will also be a party, people traditionally have dinner on the beach with \u201cpica-pica\u201d and \u201ccoca de Sant Joan\u201d, many also set off firecrackers and fireworks. Some of the most popular beaches are, La Fragata<\/a>, Alberto Beach<\/a> and El Sausalito<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many hotels and beach bars offer a special plan for the San Juan festival (June 23), special menu, live music, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These days are perfect to visit Sitges again or get to know it for the first time, the good summer atmosphere and good weather have once again taken over the streets of our town.
