The year 2024 is coming to an end, and here at the Stay Sitges team, we’d like to
take a moment to reflect on what this year has brought us, the best parties and the
most incredible events. 2025 promises to be a year full of celebrations, and we’ll be
ready to provide our clients with the best experience in Sitges.

January arrived with the New Year and the visit of the Three Wise Men from the
East. February was marked by the internationally renowned Sitges Carnival. In
March, we celebrated the Patchwork Fair as well as Easter Week. April brought
warmer weather, though the pleasant climate lasts year-round, and one of the most
beloved celebrations in Catalonia: Sant Jordi, the day of roses and books, when the
promenade of Sitges fills with stalls selling roses and books.
When we think of June, what comes to mind is heat, the start of summer, and, above
all, our famous Pride Week, also known as Gay Pride. August is one of the busiest
months, all thanks to a single week: the celebration in honor of Sant Bartomeu, or
Festa Major, which is the star event of the last month of summer. September follows
with the celebration of Santa Tecla, featuring the same beloved traditions as the
August festivities.

Sitges has a rich winemaking history that dates back centuries, with vineyards and
fishing coexisting harmoniously. For this reason, the grape harvest is highly popular
and celebrated. In October, we enjoy the traditional grape harvest festivities. Finally,
December wraps up the year with the magic of Christmas, bringing decorations,
lights, and cherished traditions into every home and street.
Sitges hosts countless events throughout the year, and while not all could be
mentioned in this article, our Stay Sitges blog focuses on each upcoming event as it
approaches.
