As promised last week, the 13th Jazz Antic Sitges has officially released its full program. From March 23rd to 29th, Sitges will turn into a Mediterranean New Orleans under the artistic direction of Joan Pinós. With over twenty concerts and events, the festival is set to fill every corner of the town with rhythm.
Key Events: March 23rd – 29th:
- Monday 23 & Tuesday 24: The festival kicks off with educational concerts at Casino Prado and Random JAS Concerts in cozy local spots like Forn 9 and La Formatgeria.
- Wednesday 25: A special day dedicated to Jazz Manouche at L’Escorxador (6:00 PM), celebrating the legacy of Django Reinhardt.
- Saturday, March 28th (The Big Day):
- 12:00 PM: Windy Coast Jazz Band at L’Escorxador.
- 4:00 PM: Big Band Meeting at the Miramar Cultural Centre patio.
- 6:30 PM: The spectacular Jazz Antic Sitges Parade 2026. Dozens of musicians will march through the town center (Carrer Major, Cap de la Vila, Parellades…) in the festival’s most famous event.
- 9:00 PM: Jazz Dinners with surprise live bands at local restaurants like Pekados or El Retiro.
- 11:00 PM: Final Jam Session at La Cantina de El Retiro.
The festival wraps up on Sunday 29th with live sessions at Aiguadolç Port and L’Escorxador, closing a week of pure musical magic.
